One of the beneficiaries of the scholarships, Annie Singini – a fourth year Business Management student at Kaning’na Campus applauded the Foundation for the support.

I was about to drop out of school due to financial challenges. When I alerted management of Kaning’ina Campus on my decision to withdraw, I was linked to the UNILIA Foundation. Thanks to the UNILIA Foundation, my future is now bright, Annie said.

Students to benefit from these scholarships are identified by campus scholarship committees. The committees forward names of the prospective beneficiaries to the office of Director of Planning and Development for further screening and forwarding to the UNILIA Foundation.

The UNILIA Foundation is a charity which supports education of needy Malawians by partnering the University of Livingstonia in raising funds for: student scholarships; Information Technology and Science equipment; and infrastructure such as dormitories/hostels and office blocks.
