Biography

Dr. Wezzie Chiziwa began his professional career as a secondary school teacher with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in 2004, where he served in several leadership roles, including Acting Head of the Humanities Department, Acting Head of the Languages and Literature Department, and Open School Coordinator.He joined the University of Livingstonia in 2013 as a Lecturer in Education and has since held several academic and administrative leadership positions, including Head of the Department of Education and Teaching Studies and Acting Dean of Students. He currently serves as a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Principal of the Laws Campus, with a strong commitment to advancing quality education through teaching, research, academic leadership, and institutional development.
