Master of Arts in African History and Heritage and Bachelor of Education Humanities in History and English
Bernard Jervis Phiri is a Malawian educator and historian specialising in African History. He recently completed his Master of Arts in African History and Heritage Studies from Mzuzu University, Malawi and holds a Bachelor of Education Humanities in History and English from University of Livingstonia, Laws Campus. He has five years of experience teaching History and English at secondary school level. He began working with University of Livingstonia in January 2020 as an adjunct lecturer before joining permanently in February, 2023 in the Department of Education Humanities where he mostly teaches African History Courses. Bernard is also involved on a part time basis at Mzuzu University in the Department of History and Heritage Studies contributing to teaching.
