Biography

Ms. Rose Cynthia Gumbo Kanyinji is an experienced educator and academic with over ten years of teaching, curriculum development, and student supervision experience in Malawi’s higher education sector. She holds a Master of Science in Agricultural Education from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) and a Bachelor of Primary Education from Domasi College of Education. She has served as a lecturer at several institutions, including Natural Resources College, Bembeke Teacher Training College, Lilongwe Teacher Training College, Pentecostal Life University, University of Hebron, Exploits University, and the University of Livingstonia. Her teaching areas include Education, Development Studies, Human Resource Management, Applied Sciences, Community Development, and Sustainable Development.

Ms. Kanyinji has also contributed to curriculum review and development in line with the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) standards and has supervised undergraduate students across various disciplines. She has also developed course outlines and modules for ODel programs. Her research interests include educational leadership, inclusive education, teacher retention and job satisfaction, curriculum development, and rural development.
