From today, April 14, students from our four campuses of Laws, Ekwendeni, Kaning’ina and Ekwendeni College of Health Sciences will be outsmarting each other in the Vice Chancellor’s Trophy.

According to the University of Livingstonia Student Union (UNSU) Sports Director, Blessings Memena, the sports festival, which comprises games such as volleyball, football, netball, basketball, sack race, marathon, chess, bottle flipping and FIFA, is taking take place at Laws Campus in Rumphi.

Memena also said that the festival will also allow students from the four campuses of Unilia to interact.

We have been preparing for this event for close to three weeks, a thing which has boosted our physical fitness.However, the event is not only about physical fitness and sports. The event will also allow students from the four campuses of Unilia to interact and relax from academic pressure, Memena said.

The Vice Chancellor’s Trophy is held every year. Last year, Laws Campus emerged the overall winner.
