Founding Vice Chancellor – University of Livingstonia (UNILIA)

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our pioneer Vice Chancellor, Professor Henry Kirk, today in the United States of America.

Professor Kirk served as the first Vice Chancellor of the University of Livingstonia (UNILIA) from 2002 to 2009.

Professor Kirk was the visionary architect of UNILIA. The university’s growth and current standing are a direct result of his foundational leadership and unwavering dedication to academic excellence.

He was also instrumental in the establishment of the UNILIA Foundation, a United States-based non-profit organization which raises funds for UNILIA’s operations, scholarships, and infrastructure.

Our deepest sympathies go to his family and the entire UNILIA community.
