Students from Laws Campus have donated assorted items to victims of Cyclone Freddy.
According to Welkam Kaponya, one of the organisers of the donation mobilization exercise, the donation includes clothes, sugar, and soya pieces.
The items have been handed over to Mibawa Television for final delivery to the victims of Cyclone Freddy, Kaponya said.
In a related development, Unilia alumni are also inviting well wishers to donate towards those who were affected by Cyclone Freddy.
Last month, Cyclone Freddy ravaged many parts of Southern Malawi. As of March 29, 2023, statistics indicated that 676 were killed and 659 278 people were rendered homeless.
