The graduation of 767 students on Thursday,26 October, 2023 have taken the number of Unilia’s graduates to 5228. With 394 male and 373 female students graduating, the numbers of female and male graduates have grown to 2912 (56% – percent) and 2316 (44% – per cent), respectively.
Unilia, which was established in 2003, held its first graduation in 2007 with only 35 students graduating.

During the graduation, Donalia Zgambo graduated with a distinction in Bachelor of Science in Public Health. She was given a total of 1 million, one hundred and fifty thousand Malawi Kwacha (MK1, 150, 000.00) in this order: The guest of honour, Dr Thomson Mpinganjira gave her one million; Unilia K100, 000; and Little Dove K50, 000.
