Appointment of Professor Bernard Chizengo Gomezgani Kamanga as Acting Vice Chancellor

On behalf of the Trustees, Council, Management, and Staff of the University of Livingstonia, I am delighted to announce the appointment of Professor Bernard Chizengo Gomezgani Kamanga as the Acting Vice Chancellor of the University of Livingstonia.

Professor Kamanga holds a PhD in Food Security and Development from Wageningen University (Netherlands); Master of Science, Bachelor of Science and Diploma in Agriculture (all from the University of Malawi – Bunda College of Agriculture).

Professor Kamanga has served as the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Livingstonia since 2019.

Professor Kamanga brings with him vast experience, the highest level of competence, and integrity in the administration of institutions of higher learning.

We are confident that his appointment will ensure continuity of the tremendous strategic growth that UNILIA is undergoing.
