University of Livingstonia (UNILIA) Extension Of Admission to September 2026 Intake
The University of Livingstonia (UNILIA) is pleased to announce that it has extended admission of students to its September Intake to 21 September, 2026. The extension is meant to accommodate students who have passed the recently released Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) Examination and those who missed the earlier call for admission. Therefore, suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for enrolment into the following undergraduate degree, diploma and University Certificate in Education programmes:

General Notes
- Applicants are required to provide proof of previous education: copies of result slips, transcripts and diplomas or certificates where necessary. Submission of false information is not allowed.
- Applicants should pay a non-refundable application fee of MK15,000 to the bank account given under the Fees Section below.
- Applications will be processed immediately (on receipt), and feedback will be given instantly. Successful applicants are supposed to report for classes by 21 September, 2026. Those who do not report by 21 September will be asked to report in January next year (2027).
- Details of fees payment shall be communicated in admission letters.
- All admitted candidates shall be required to respect and abide by the Christian values as practiced by the CCAP Synod of Livingstonia.
A. Fees Structure per Semester
- Fees for Non-Science (without laboratory engagements) Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree Programmes: Malawian students shall pay MK943,000 (residential) and MK793,000 (non-residential). International students: US$ 550 (residential) and US$ 462 (non-residential).
- Fees for Science (with laboratory engagements) Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree Programmes: Malawian students shall pay MK993,000 (residential) and MK843,000 (non-residential). International students: US$ 580 (residential) and US$ 500 (non-residential).
- Diploma and Bachelor in Classical Education at Rafiki Campus: MK694,100 (Degree), MK485,000 (Diploma), and US$475 (international Degree). Non-residential with free lunch.
- Theology Programmes: Malawian students MK798,000 (residential), MK648,000 (non-residential). International: US$ 465 (residential) and US$ 380 (non-residential).
- UCE Fees: MK412,250 (non-residential), MK512,000 (residential).
- ODeL Theology: MK399,000. Optional accommodation: K2,000.00 per day.
- Weekend & Evening Classes: MK735,000 (Non-Science), MK785,000 (Science).
- Weekend and Evening Programmes are offered on a non-residential basis.

⚠️ NOTE:
- The University does not use agents in recruitment of students and payment of fees (i.e. does not use Airtel Money, Mpamba, Mukuru, Hello Paisa and etc.). Beware of fraudsters!
B. Application Procedure
- Application forms can be accessed on the University website (www.unilia.ac.mw) and all University offices. Use an application letter where the application forms are not available. Application forms with a closing date of 31 July, 2026 (for the previous call for admission into the September Intake) can also be used.
- Applicants must provide proof of previous education via copies of notification or slips of results, or certificates.
